Ever wondered how stupid people are?
Sometimes people knowingly or unknowingly support evil deeds. Just like the Ghibli trend.
The Ghibli Trend started in 2025 where gpts such as Grok, Gemini and ChatGpt started generating the image you provide into a ghibli version.
But do you know that this wasn't even legal? Yes, these giants never took approval to use Ghibli art data into their model, infact they directly used it.
This harms not just the artists like those from studio ghibli but also steals the art with no rights.
The problem is not just these giants but also people who sends their data like photos into their model to get the ghibli art of it.
The problem of sending your personal image to GPT is a whole other topic that we will discuss some day later. (FYI the above image is also AI Generated.)
The above image is also basically stealing some art from some known or unknown author without their consent do the same thing and you will end up in jail if you weren't these giant corporations.
People need to frankly standup stop sending your data and letting giants get away with such trends because in future your art will be stolen by some AI and normalized.
Some studios has even started to work on AI generated anime and as expected people are upset. How upset? Just read the below reddit post:

And not just that some have even pointed out that first 95% AI generated Anime mentioned in above reddit post is fraud. LMAO.
But even though whatever may happen please just support anime or manga directly and not fall for stupid trends that only has downsides and no benefits other than quick burnout. Hope as an Anime community people will keep this in mind!!
