The ultimate battle of wills between high school’s reigning "Queen Bee" and a stone-cold future monk is officially locked in for another round! Following the initial confirmation that a sequel was in production, Kodansha USA and official anime channels have confirmed that Medaka Kuroiwa is Impervious to My Charms Season 2 will officially broadcast in January 2027.
Alongside the release window announcement, fans were treated to a brand-new character PV focusing on everyone’s favorite overly confident heroine, Mona Kawai.
What to Expect in Season 2
The story follows Mona Kawai, the school's most popular girl, and Medaka Kuroiwa, a transfer student who completely ignores her because he is training to be a monk. While Mona spends Season 1 trying to make him fall for her, she accidentally ends up falling for him instead.
Mona’s fight for Medaka's attention is about to get much harder. In Season 2, new characters enter the mix some acting as chaotic wingwomen, and others as romantic rivals. Adapting the manga's next major arcs, the upcoming season promises plenty of festival drama, romantic misunderstandings, and fierce competition.
